i'm amazed! i just got to work and was handed an envelope by the office manager. he said "happy new year" and in it a dual membership to the Seattle Art Museum. wow. that is really exciting!

tonight is my volunteer night at siff. they are showing amarcord. i have never heard of this movie. apparently it won best foreign film at the oscar's in 1974. brian and i just watched 8 1/2 last night so i might just be fellini'd out.

lawrimore project is playing blow up on thursday night. the movie that introduced me to the yardbirds

and showing again at western bridge, anthony mccalls's installation "doubling back". what an exciting new year.

i finally recieved my obama t-shirt! how can i make it cool rather than wearing it as another gym t-shirt?

also, i forgot to report on grey gallery. the cocktails were delicious. i ordered a kir royale and then a greyhoud. tart and tasty! the photos hanging were good but i thought there were too many for the series.
