dropping your iphone is very real. i've dropped it (like really dropped it) probably 4-5 times. this morning as i was rushing out of the house to catch the late late bus i dropped my phone. boom it fell. i picked it up with kind of an "oh shit" look on my face and sure enough i press the home button to only to find a white screen and faded pink lines. yikes! i freaked, tried to fix it, left it at home, rushed out of the house without a coat, my klean kanteen, and still missed the bus. fuck!

the day was dreadful, i felt like i had a sick child at home and all day wanted to come back home to help it get better. all day people rooted for me, even the guy at the printer for one of my projects said "i hope you get your phone working"

i finally made it home from a day filled with deadlines at work. brian and i took the first "genius" appointment we could get and hopped in a zipcar. we got to the apple store and were greeted with kind, friendly eyes. i felt optimistic. the genius helper said that because they were no visible marks, dents, cracks, etc. that apple would replace my phone.

and replace my phone they did. my old phone will get fixed and most likely put up for sale on an apple refurbished website.

hooray for me and one point for apple
