fall is the loveliest time of year. always festive and never dull. my friday night included listening to "this american life" with brian, making sweet sweet nachos and fish tacos, and celebrating jon killian's 31st birthday at the canterbury.
saturday morning we dilly dallied around the house, i tried to sew oil cloth and neoprene together and it's not working out so i had to visit stitches today and pick up some interfacing. in the afternoon, we visited discovery park and the always yummy red mill burger joint. how can a trip to magnolia ever be complete without a side jaunt to interbay to enjoy a delicious burger. it was michael robb's idea...all he had to do was mention the place and brian was there. later in the evening we went to a super fun surprise party for our friends joel and charlie. the party raged with confettti, silly string, soul music, and plenty of libations. i drank a shit ton of wine and got pretty effed. we stayed a while then headed to josh's house party, where people were playing ping pong and hanging out in the kitchen. it's so funny how that always happens, huge house but always 15+ people crammed in the kitchen enjoying conversation.
